Tri-Cities Recovery Center is a non-residential program providing effective Christian discipleship training for all persons affected by life-controlling problems. Through life skills training, spiritual instruction, and emotional support, individuals learn to become emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, and spiritually alive. The application of biblical principles in relationships, community, church, and career empowers Tri-Cities Recover Center participants to live and function as productive members of the community.
Tri-Cities Recovery Center also assists communities by conducting educational and spiritual outreach programs.
Mark Mitchell has proven experience in assisting individuals and families in overcoming life controlling problems. He has instructed and facilitated the powerful Living Free Curriculum for over fourteen years and is knowledgeable of the biblical principles necessary to overcome life controlling problems. As former Program Director of the Appalachian Teen Challenge Bristol Outreach Center, Mark has led both community and jail outreach programs that have resulted in many dedicating their lives in service to Christ. In addition, Mark serves as a Chaplin at the Southwest Regional jail in Abingdon, Va.Helping families break free of the chains of addiction is his passion, and his life is characterized by service to God. He is a credentialed minister in Ministerial Studies through Global University. Mark is married and has two children.
